Vinay Kumar has played in the league for RCB, KTK, KKR and MI so far. He has had a decent IPL career with a couple of titles, and is also the second highest wicket-taker for RCB.

Vinay was bought by KKR last season for a second stint with the side, making him the most experienced domestic fast bowler in the squad. However, the Karnataka pacer failed to impress the team management in whatever limited opportunities he was given.

He didn't get a game after the initial matches as both Prasidh Krishna and Shivam Mavi bowled well. He has been released by KKR and with many young bowlers coming up, Vinay might find it difficult to secure an IPL contract next year.

He still has a few years of Ranji career left in him though, which should be his priority right now.
