Barinder Sran was picked up by Mumbai Indians as a deputy to Jasprit Bumrah, but failed to make any sort of impact. Bought for crores, Sran only played two games and picked up a single wicket.

MI had a biggest find this season ”Alzarri Joseph" who did create some jaw-dropping records in his debut match. Mumbai Indians, who are known for their aggressive bowling might look to drop out the former KXIP bowler as he had a horrible economy of 12.75 in just two games.

The management would look to drop him and go for an overseas spinner or experienced pacer to add up their bowling strength which will help them defend their title.
