#2 Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan took the whole IPL by storm when in his first season with the Sunrisers Hyderabad as a rookie, he took an astonishing 17 wickets. It was quite a remarkable feat considering the fact that he was only 18 years old at that time.
While many cricket pundits around the world deemed him as only a one season wonder, it is safe to say that they were wrong. In IPL 2018, Rashid was one of the vital reasons Sunrisers Hyderabad made to the finals.
This year Rashid Khan is one of the front runners to take the Purple Cap home as he took 21 wickets and finished second, just behind Andrew Tye in IPL 2018 Purple Cap race.
#1 Jasprit Bumrah
Jasprit Bumrah has been leading India's bowling attack for the last two years and is known for his lethal death over bowling. His ability to deliver precise yorkers has helped India turn the results of several close games.
Some players are good IPL player while others are brilliant international players, but there are very few players who play well at both the levels of the game. Bumrah is one of those players who impressed the fans on both stages.
Last season, Bumrah was the leader of Mumbai Indians' bowling attack and finished with an impressive 17 wickets in the season. Had Mumbai Indians qualified for further stages, Bumrah might have added few more wickets to his bag.
