The schedule for the first two weeks of the tournament has been revealed. CSK and RCB will face each other in the season opener. Another season of world's biggest T20 extravaganza IPL is upon us and the excitement among fans for the cash-rich T20 league is increasing as the start date (23rd March) of the tournament is getting nearer.
In the last IPL season, there were many brilliant players who didn't perform according to their required potential. But, these players have the potential to be the X-factor for their respective teams and will be looking forward to offset the performance of the last season in IPL 2019.
#3 Jaydev Unadkat
The 27-year-old again got a huge amount from Rajasthan Royals at the IPL auctions 2019. He will surely want to justify his price tag in IPL 2019 by doing well with the ball. Last season, the talented left-arm pacer, Jaydev Unadkat was bought by Rajasthan Royals for a whopping sum of INR 11.5 crores at the IPL auctions 2018 but was unable to justify his price tag as he failed badly in IPL 2018. He managed to pick just 11 wickets from 15 matches at a poor average of 44.18 and an economy rate of 9.65.
He might not have been successful in the last season but he has the ability to do well. He has already shown us what he is capable of in IPL 2017 where he took 24 wickets from just 12 matches at an astonishing average of 13.41 and an impressive economy rate of 7.02 with 30/5 being his best figures in the season.
It will be fascinating to watch if he could turn things around in the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League.

#2 Manish Pandey
In IPL 2018, he scored just 284 runs from 15 matches at a mediocre average of 25.81 and a strike rate of 115.14. These numbers don't do justice with his aptitude as he is capable of doing much better than this. The first Indian centurion in IPL, Manish Pandey was purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad last season for a hefty sum of INR 11 crores but he failed to live up to his price tag as he could not perform according to his calibre.
In his IPL career, the 29-year-old has scored 2499 runs from 109 innings at an average of 28.08 and a strike rate of 119.57 with 114 being his highest.
Manish Pandey was retained by SRH for the approaching season. Hence he will surely want to make a mark in IPL 2019.
It will be worth watching if he could live up to the expectations this time around.
#1 Ben Stokes
Ben Stokes is arguably one of the best all-rounders in world cricket at the moment. The English all-rounder has an impressive debut season in IPL 2017 while playing for Rising Pune Supergiants as he shined with both bat and ball.
In the debut season, he smashed 316 runs from 12 matches at an average of 31.60 and a strike rate of 142.98 with the help of 1 fifty and 1 century. While bowling, he picked up 12 wickets from 12 matches at an average of 26.33 and an economy rate of 7.18 with 18/3 being his best figures.
But next season, the story was totally different as he had a poor outing with both bat and ball in IPL 2018 while playing for Rajasthan Royals and he didn't do justice to his price tag of INR 12.5 crores. In IPL 2018, he scored just 196 runs at a poor average of 16.33 and took just 8 wickets at an average of 37.87.
In spite of having a bad season last year, Ben Stokes could do wonders for Rajasthan Royals this season if performs according to his potential.
