KL Rahul needs more support at the top

Both KXIP and RCB have been on a similar track for a while. Both teams have capable members in the squad to lead them to the their first title, but for some reason their performances on the field don't match up.

KXIP was the most dominating team in the first half of IPL 2018, winning five out of their first six matches. But even during that run only a few of their players performed consistently; the others drifted around and were constantly subjected to chopping and changing .

KXIP too lack a dependable keeper-batsman in the top order who can give them good starts. KL Rahul, who isn't even a proper keeper, was seen having a tough time with the gloves in his hand.

Rahul and Bairstow would make for a perfect opening combination in T20 cricket, and if KXIP buy the Englishman he could solve their batting miseries.

#4 Delhi Daredevils

After releasing Gautam Gambhir, the current Delhi squad lacks experience. Though they have brilliant youngsters, experience is a key factor in any winning campaign.

DD traded Shikhar Dhawan with SRH to power up their batting. The further inclusion of Bairstow will certainly be helpful to Delhi because that will bring depth to their lineup and also give them a reliable keeper.

Delhi have never reached the final in their 11-year IPL career, but adding Bairstow might give them a healthy chance of lifting the trophy.
