Yusuf Pathan has been one of the biggest flops for Sunrisers Hyderabad this season.

Yusuf Pathan, the hard-hitting batsman from Vadodara was one of the regulars in the Indian team till 2012. However, he has not been in the reckoning since then vastly due to his inconsistency and a steep decline in his performances.

This season has been no different as he has only managed to score a paltry 40 runs from 10 matches at a poor average of 13.33 and strike-rate of 88.88. Despite being labelled as a reliable finisher, he has never managed to get going and has increased the reliance on the top order. He has thrown away his wicket cheaply on numerous occasions and has failed to make a mark. Added to his woes, he has rarely made a contribution with the ball this season.

With neither age nor form on his side, Yusuf Pathan could be let go by the Hyderabad franchise. Also with teams adopting a relatively younger squad, he might not fit into them and could go unsold in the next auction.
