Nothing had gone in the right path for Umesh Yadav this season.

Umesh Yadav, the fast bowler from Vidarbha had clearly been one of the weakest links in Royal Challengers Bangalore's bowling department. Despite being one of the most experienced bowlers in RCB's lineup, he had completely stumbled to find his form and rhythm this season.

He had only taken 8 wickets from 11 matches at an economy rate of 9.80. He has leaked way too many runs and has been bashed away by the batsmen all over the ground. His yorkers have missed the blockhole and his short balls have been far from the desired. Added to his woes, he has been sloppy in the field and has missed some crucial catches.

With very little positives to account from Umesh Yadav's performances, Royal Challengers Bangalore will have no choice but release Umesh Yadav and acquire some quality bowlers.
