#3 Rahul Chahar (Mumbai Indians)
Another unheard teenager who caught the attention of everyone is Rahul Chahar. The 19-year-old leg-spinner has shown great control, despite not having a huge arsenal of variations. For a spinner, who plays most of the matches at the Wankhede, to have an economy of just 7.17 is commendable to say the least. He completely overshadowed Mayank Markande, who has already played for India. He has picked up 10 wickets from 11 matches at an average of 28 and would be hoping to add to that tally as his team have qualified for the playoffs after topping the points table.
#2 Shubman Gill (Kolkata Knight Riders)
The player of the tournament in the most recent U19 World Cup, Shubman Gill was incredibly impressive for the Kolkata Knight Riders this season. He amassed 296 runs from 14 matches while playing lower down the order for the larger period of the tournament. He scored three fifties in the tournament and had a strike rate of 124. He averaged 33 and had the highest score of 76 against the Mumbai Indians. He has looked like the next batting sensation of the nation and his performances are there to rightly justify the tag.
