#1 Navdeep Saini (Royal Challengers Bangalore)
Navdeep Saini’s raw pace and sharp bouncers caught huge amount of attention this season. He troubled quite a few batsmen in the tournament and was quite convincingly the fastest Indian pacer on display. He scalped 11 wickets in 13 matches and was the only bright spot in the Royal Challengers Bagalore's poor bowling line-up. His death bowling was still a concern but an economy of 8.2 while bowling mostly at the Chinnaswamy should be considered decent. While his bowling striker rate was 26.08, his bowling average read 36.09, with best figures of 2/24. He was even predicted to make it to the Indian squad for the World Cup by many experts but it didn’t happen. However, it is certain that he will be playing in the national colours very soon and will be expected to spearhead RCB's bowling attack in the coming seasons.
