#3 Mayank Markande (Mumbai Indians)
Mayank Markande had a fabulous outing in IPL 2018, where he took 15 wickets from 14 games. He could have won this award in that season only, but his inconsistency and loss of form prevented him from doing so.
Markande, who had taken seven wickets from the first two matches, could manage only eight wickets from the next 12. However, he got back to form and made his debut for the Indian team as well. He picked up 17 matches from 3 matches in the Ranji Trophy. He impressed everyone with his good bowling in the recent Emerging Players' Asia Cup as well.
Mumbai Indians could not get going in IPL 2018. A lot will depend on this young leggie if they want a change in their fortunes in 2019. He will again be the frontline spinner for the team, and thus, will carry a lot of expectations with him.
