Prithvi Shaw is undoubtedly the best of the young talents that India has produced. At 19, he already has numerous records to his name. His talent came to the fore during Under 19 World Cup, when he scored 261 runs in 6 matches at an average of 65.25.

He was picked up by Delhi Daredevils (now Capitals) for the 2018 season. He scored 245 runs in 9 matches, at an impressive strike rate of 153.12. He was drafted into the Indian team for West Indies tour. He scored 237 runs in 3 innings, including one century.

He will be playing for the same franchise in 2019 as well. As he has played only nine matches in his IPL career, he will still be in contention to win the Emerging Player's Award. It will be no surprise if he wins this award in this season.
