Shimron Hetmyer was a player from whom a lot was expected by the RCB team when the side purchased him in the auction. The main thing which led to a heavy bid for him was his top-class form in domestic tournaments and for the West Indies side. But as soon as the world saw him in the first 4 matches, the entire buzz went down to a great extent.

He just scored 15 runs from his first 4 matches and showcased his poor form. He batted at 3 different positions during these 4 matches but still failed to get a big score on the board. Referring to his recent form, Virat Kohli didn’t take the risk of including him in the playing 11 for their 5th match against Kolkata Knight Riders.
