The right-arm pacer from England is one of the most exciting bowlers in the world at the moment. He has been in good form for England in the limited-overs format.

He has played two Tests, 10 ODIs and six T20Is and picked up two wickets in Tests, 16 in ODIs and seven in T20Is. In the last edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), he represented KKR and has taken six wickets in five games.

The another England player, Mark Wood, who was a part of CSK last season, was expensive in IPL 2018. Though they have the likes of Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar and Lungi Ngidi in the squad, Curran could be a genuine pacer and also be a handy lower order batsman. Along with Ngidi and Chahar, Curran could make CSK an even more dangerous bowling unit.
