The 2016 champions have decided to retain David Warner, who missed the entire season last time around due to his involvement in the ball tampering incident at the beginning of the year.

The biggest name missing is Shikhar Dhawan, who was traded to the Delhi Daredevils for Vijay Shankar, Shahbaz Nadeem, and Abhishek Sharma.
