Apart from losing Quinton de Kock to the Mumbai Indians, the Royal Challengers Bangalore decided to release Brendon McCullum as well. This was an expected move as the veteran star has not been playing much cricket and is not in the best of forms as well.

Apart from McCullum, Sarfaraz Khan, who was one of the players retained last year, has been released as well.

Released players: Quinton de Kock, Mandeep Singh, Brendon McCullum, Chris Woakes, Corey Anderson, Sarfraz Khan, Pavan Deshpande, Manan Vohra, Murugan Ashwin, Anirudhha Joshi, Aniket Choudhary.
