#6- Chennai Super Kings - NA
The Chennai Super Kings have no overseas player slots left and hence can't sign international stars at the auction this season. They released Mark Wood but have 2 Englishmen in their camp as well. David Willey and Sam Billings will look to play more matches this season for the 3-time champions and perform well.
#7- Sam Curran- Kings XI Punjab

Young Sam Curran has become a star for the England national team in all formats of the game. A hard-hitting lower order batsman and a great opening bowler, Curran swings the ball into the right-hander and is a left arm pacer. He had a great time against India in the test series and has carried his form to other formats.
Kings XI Punjab released many players and lack a good all rounder and Curran could be just that. His all-round abilities and batting prowess can provide stability to the Punjab unit and will be a good pick regardless of the others they pick.
#8- Kolkata Knight Riders- Joe Denly

Joe Denly will be an unknown entity ahead of the auction. The England player made his debut in 2009 but wasn't consistent and found himself out of the squad.
He has now earned a place for himself with his excellent T20 performances with teams like Kent, Sydney Sixers, and Karachi Kings. The opening batsman, who can bowl leg spin, has scored 898 runs in 28 innings this year averaging 37.41 with a strike rate of 137.
He has taken 25 wickets in 16 innings while bowling and is very economical and has a great average of 15.68. He can be a handy all-rounder and a good replacement for someone like Chris Lynn, who has a tendency to get injured. Sunil Narine needn't be forced to open the batting as this attacking batsman can dominate bowling lineups on his own.
