#2 Kings XI Punjab

The Kings XI started off last season with a bang and were on top of the table at one point. However, they crumbled soon after that and ended up finishing seventh on the table.
Led by Ravichandran Ashwin, KXIP have roped in Mandeep Singh from RCB and have given Marcus Stoinis to them in exchange. Mandeep was a part of KXIP before and could be a handy batsman at the top of the order or in the middle-order.
They released a lot of players, including the likes of Yuvraj Singh and Aaron Finch.
They have the most money left to spend at ₹ 36.20 crores.
#1 Chennai Super Kings

It was a season to remember for CSK, who made a comeback after a two-year ban and went on to win the league as well. Despite having a lot of players over the age of 30, they defied the odds and did the unthinkable.
As of now, they have not made any significant changes to their team.
They released only three players, including Englishman Mark Wood.
They have ₹10.40 crores left to spend.
