#1 Royal Challengers Bangalore

It seems that Royal Challengers Bangalore has singled out their poor batting display as a reason for their dismal performance last season. The franchise has released all the batsmen except Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiers for IPL 2019, which leaves a lot of room for recruiting a number of new batsmen. RCB has traditionally been a side that has invested in players who follow a bold and aggressive approach in their game.
Hetmyer, in his short cricket career, has shown a lot of tenacity. He went on the likes of Chahal and Kuldeep, who have troubled some big names in international cricket, in the recently concluded ODI series. There's flair about Hetmyer's batting which might attract a team like RCB. RCB will also want someone who can take some burden off Kohli and de Villiers' shoulders. The 21-year-old can be a valuable addition to the RCB squad, and who knows, he might just change their fortunes in the IPL.
