#7 Brendon McCullum
One of the most destructive batsmen to have ever played the game, Brendon McCullum might have retired quite a while back, but his charm still remains. A T20 player who plies his trade in leagues around the world, McCullum was bought as RCB's X-factor at the top last year, but couldn't create much magic.
Released by the Bangalore-based franchise, McCullum will be eyeing a new team and has put his base price at the maximum price.
#8 D'Arcy Short
Not part of the India-Australia Test series, D'Arcy Short has been one of Australia's emerging white-ball players and gained recognition with his exploits in the Big Bash league. Playing at the top of the order, Short is a treat to watch when he gets going, but hasn't been able to bring consistency in his game.
Released by the Rajasthan Royals after a poor debut season, Short will be looking to bolster a new franchise's top order in 2019.
#9 Chris Woakes
England's star all-rounder has been a handy addition to their lineups in both red-ball and white-ball cricket. Generating quick deliveries with a hint of movement, Woakes is also a useful batsman down the order, and fits the bill of a T20 all-rounder.
After playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders, Woakes was purchased by the Royal Challengers Bangalore, but joined the released players' list after just one season.
