#4 Ishant Sharma (Deccan Chargers) - 3-0-12-5
Even though Ishant Sharma does not have a great IPL record, he has bowled one of the most lethal fast bowling spells in the history of the IPL. In 2011, the Deccan Chargers were pitted against Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Put in to bat first, the Chargers managed to score just 129 runs and were in deep trouble at the end of the innings. But Sharma made life difficult for the Kerala outfit and decimated their top order. Sharma ended with the figures of 5-12 in 3 overs. His opening bowling partner Dale Steyn wasn't much behind and took 3 wickets. The Kerala outfit were eventually dismissed for 74 runs.
#3 Anil Kumble (Royal Challengers Bangalore) - 3.1-1-5-5
Anil Kumble was renowned for his fighting spirit, and he gave a good account of his never-say-die attitude in the second match of IPL 2009. Kumble was up against the defending champions Rajasthan Royals and his side was defending a small total of 133 runs. Jumbo destroyed the Royals' batting line-up with his variations and returned with a figure of 5-5. RR were all out for a paltry score of 58 and Kumble was named the man-of-the-match.
