Best Overseas Combination: Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer and Ish Sodhi

Rajasthan Royals bought back Jaydev Unadkat for INR 8.4 crore at the auction, but they didn't make many notable signings apart from this. The Royals have perhaps the best overseas wealth in the entire league, but a few players' unavailability for the entire season will hurt them.

Jos Buttler was on fire last season, single-handedly leading them to the playoffs, and he will open the batting. Ben Stokes is one of the best limited overs all-rounders in the world and will hope to do better when he plays this season.

Jofra Archer too made immediate impact on his arrival last season, and his tremendous T20 record makes him a must-have.

As for Steve Smith, his recent injury will certainly worry the Australian Cricket Board who already have a lot on their hands. Smith might be forced to miss this season due to his injury and as a result, the 4th overseas spot would open up.

Ish Sodhi will be the top contender for that. He was highly impressive and bowled at an economy of less than 6 last season.
