The team which has had some great batting lineup for the last many years but has been kept from winning the trophy. The IPL trophy is the championship for which Virat Kohli has often looked desperate to win it. RCB in the past had some great hitters like Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum in their team but they were not able to make RCB win the tournament.

This time RCB has gone with a slightly different approach and had tried to build a balanced side rather than building a batsman heavy side. They have roped in some good bowlers and all-rounders in their squad. They also bought the second most expensive uncapped player this year in the auction.

Uncapped Players: Himmat Singh, D Padikkal, A Nath, P Barman, Shivam Dube, Milind Kumar, Gurkeerat Singh, Navdeep Saini, and Kulwant Khejroliya.

Shivam Dube has smacked five sixes in an over twice in short career

The name which had started to make the noise even before the auctions was that of Shivam Dube. The young player from Mumbai impressed everyone with his clean hitting of the ball. He looks quite identical to Yuvraj Singh when batting. RCB would be hoping for him to come good this season. Shivam Dube also brings the balance to side as he can also chip in with a couple of overs of his medium pace bowling.
