The Rajasthan Royals is yet another team which strongly advocates the promotion of youngsters in their side. Ajinkya Rahane, Sanju Samson and Karun Nair are few of the side's best products and this season too, they have gone for the young players. They considerably overpaid on Jaydev Unadkat and as a result, weren't able to buy most of the top-grossing uncapped players but possesses great talent nevertheless.

Krishnaapa Gowtham impressed last season after a slow start and justified his price tag. He is a very aggressive batsman and clever spinner who can bowl at all stages of the game. Shreyas Gopal will be an ideal choice to partner him.

Rahul Tripathi made a name for himself playing for RPSG in IPL 2017 and was bought by RR in IPL 2018. After being forced to bat in the middle order, he finally got the chance to express himself opening the batting and made some runs there. He must be allowed to open the batting along with Jos Buttler this season.
