Royal Challengers Bangalore - Shivam Dubey and Navdeep Saini

The Royal Challengers Bangalore made a few big-name signings at the auction including that of Caribbean star Shimron Hetmyer for ₹4.2 crore. Their biggest signing came in the form of Mumbai all-rounder Shivam Dube for ₹5 crore.
Dube was expected to fetch huge money in the auction due to consistent domestic performances and his stellar show in the many domestic T20 leagues. They also bought Akshdeep Nath (₹3.6 crore), Prayas Ray Barman (₹1.6 crore) and Himmat Singh at the auction.
Dube seems to be the best all-rounder for RCB as his hard-hitting skills will fill the void which Sarfraz Khan has left. They lacked power in the middle order despite Mandeep Singh's best efforts and there weren't many extra bowling options to turn to. Dube is the perfect solution to both the problems.
It was a surprise that RCB didn't play Navdeep Saini after buying him for ₹3 crore last season but he will be their best-uncapped bowler this season. He is in the thick of the action for India A and is ever close to a call-up from the national team. He provides a great burst of energy and pace and should get a chance.
