Andre Russell was Kolkata Knight Riders' one-man army. The big Jamaican played some unbelievable innings and helped KKR snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. No boundaries seemed big enough for the West Indies maverick as he plundered 52 sixes at a strike-rate of over 200. He was effective with the ball too, picking up 11 wickets.

Hardik Pandya came to his own in IPL 2019. The 25-year-old played crucial cameos for the Mumbai Indians, especially in the death overs. In the 16 matches that Hardik played in IPL 2019, he scored 402 runs at an average of 44.66. His high strike-rate of 191.42 added extra runs to Mumbai Indians' innings that made a huge difference for them.
