There is no dearth of talented bowling options for Delhi Capitals this time around.
Amit Mishra is the 2nd highest wicket-taker in the history of IPL with 146 wickets from 136 matches. The 36-year-old will be pushing hard to make an impact in the IPL in order to make a return to the national team. He last played for the national team in February 2017.
25-year-old Rahul Tewatia put in some impressive performances for Haryana in the Ranji Trophy. He is a good option in the spin department while Sandeep Lamichhane shall serve as backup.
Getting into the starting XI for pacers will be a difficult task as there are many exceptional talents. Ishant Sharma is the front runner as far as Indians are concerned. Harshal Patel, Avesh Khan, and Nathu Singh will all have to wait for their opportunities.
Meanwhile, Trent Boult, who was the 5th highest wicket taker of 2018 IPL, will be the first choice from overseas players.
Kagiso Rabada is currently the 3rd highest ranked Test bowler and 7th ranked ODI bowler. He is another excellent bowling option for the Capitals.
20-year-old Keemo Paul is a brilliant option as well. The Windies player also has the ability to bat down the order and score a few runs for the team.
