To be fair, Ishant Sharma hasn't done anything wrong in particular to lose his spot in the team and leaving him out will be slightly unfair. However, there is a difference between not doing badly and really making an impact in the game; which Ishant Sharma has failed to do. His economy rates of 9.33 and 8.50 is something that the team cannot rely on. With the slot of a foreign player open in the team, the management can replace him with Trent Boult. The Kiwi pacer has a knack of picking up wickets in the powerplay and is more than efficient in the death. Also, he can swing the ball much more than Ishant Sharma and in a small ground like Delhi, the 30-year might find it hard to control the runs. Hence, Boult should get the nod ahead of Ishant Sharma for the Delhi Capitals.
