They hadn't even recovered from this incident when, Morris made a blunder to call for a single which was completely unnecessary in that situation.

He had punched the ball away towards mid-off and made the call for a run. Ashwin, the fielder there, leaped towards the opportunity for a run out. He had three stumps to aim at from his fielding position, and he couldn't do it any better. He knocked out the stump well in time to grant Chris Morris his farewell walk towards pavilion, putting up a mark of 144-5. This left the team in a tight spot as there was no other proper batsman except Colin Ingram left to anchor the inning and guide them towards victory.
