#2 David Warner returns to the IPL to entertain everyone

The world of cricket went into a state of shock when the Sandpaper scandal unraveled. Big bankable names like Steve Smith, David Warner, and Cameron Bancroft were pulled up for their crimes and handed a one year ban from participating in any international and Australian domestic cricket tournament.

How much that verdict impacted the Australian team was evident from their results in the past one year or so. But now with the ban a thing of the past and Warner available to play for SRH, everyone would be eagerly looking forward to that.

Easily among the most attacking and destructive batsman in world cricket, it’s a pleasure to have Warner back to entertain one and all. He spearheaded SRH’s dominance in the 2016 IPL season, and his record for them is rather commendable.

If Warner had any mental doubts regarding his position in the side or if he belongs to this stage after a hiatus of one year from playing high intense, pressure cricket , he should take confidence from his record and just trust his instincts.

He has been playing in T20 leagues across the globe in the past year and has looked reasonably in good knick. SRH would hope he can bring his A-game when he steps out to open the innings for them this season.
