#2 Mumbai Indians - Mitchell McCleneghan

Another New Zealander to feature on this list for all the wrong reasons is the left arm fast bowler, Mitchell McClenaghan. Over the last couple of years, McClenaghan has been Rohit Sharma's trusted foreign player but not so much this year, as he was dropped early into the tournament.
In the three matches that McClenaghan played, he picked up 3 wickets but his economy rate of almost 10 left much to be desired off. The New Zealander has since been dropped and has not featured in a single game.
Even after Jason Behrendorff has left MI for international duty, Barinder Sran has been preferred by Rohit over McClenaghan. While I will not rule out his future involvements, but by the looks of it, it seems McClenaghan has lost the trust of the management.
#1 Chennai Super Kings - Shane Watson

Another year, and another playoffs qualification for the men in yellow lead by MS Dhoni. But for all that consistency, one man who hasn't been consistent enough at the top of the order is Shane Watson. The Australian is having one of his poorer seasons with the bat so far.
Watson has featured in every match for CSK so far but he has scored just 251 runs at an average of 20 and at a strike rate of just 127. For all his inconsistent performances, he still has been backed by MS Dhoni, maybe due to the lack of options he has at the top of the order.
With the playoffs around the horizon, it is time for Watson to step up and show why he is considered an IPL great.
