The left-arm quick impressed everyone in the domestic tournaments and was bought by Sunrisers for huge bucks. But unfortunately, with the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul, Billy Stanlake and Sandeep Sharma in the side, Khaleel got only one game in the entire season.
However, his good domestic performance did not go unnoticed as he was selected in the Indian ODI team for the Asia Cup. Khaleel has done reasonably well for team India and is in contention for a place in the World Cup squad. The youngster is set to get more opportunities this time around and he will look to make the most of them.
