Mumbai Indians won a lot of hearts when they bought Yuvraj Singh at the dying moments of the auction. Yuvraj is obviously way past his best and the decision to get him was seen more as a ploy to increase the already strong fan base. And Yuvraj was included in the playing XI right away.

The southpaw did struggle initially but slowly got into the groove as he was seen hitting some vintage Yuvraj shots. He scored a fifty too. But, he was dropped from the playing XI to accommodate the young batting star Ishan Kishan.

The fans are still demanding Yuvraj's inclusion in the playing XI but with the playoffs nearby, it is improbable that the Mumbai Indians will tinker with their batting line-up. There is no point having a star player like Yuvraj in the side and not playing him. Thus, this might have been the last of Yuvraj Singh in the IPL.
