Three-time champions Mumbai Indians had a disappointing IPL campaign last season, as they failed to qualify for the playoffs and thereby would look to bounce back this time around with a good performance in IPL 2019.

The Mumbai Indians currently have a balanced squad and quality finishers like Kieron Pollard, Yuvraj Singh and Pandya brothers in their line up. But considering both Pollard and Yuvraj are past their prime and Hardik Pandya well known for his inconsistency. Therefore, I am expecting Krunal Pandya to don the mantle of a finisher for Mumbai Indians.

The elder of the Pandya brother, Krunal has successfully played the role of a finisher for Mumbai franchise before, and was the main reason behind Mumbai Indians winning the IPL 2017 trophy, as Krunal's match-winning innings of 47 runs helped Mumbai Indians defeat Rising Pune Supergiants by a narrow margin of 1 run in the finals of IPL 2017.

Therefore, Mumbai Indians team management will look forward for Krunal Pandya to don the role of a finisher for them in IPL 2019.
