IPL 2019: Possible stand-in captains

#2 Kieron Pollard (MI)

The West Indian all-rounder has spent 9 years with the MI franchise and is a very experienced player for them. The MI crowd love to see their favorite match-winner smashing sixes. Kieron Pollard is another automatic choice when it comes to vice-captaincy.

Pollard has a lot of experience leading the Barbados Tridents and Saint Lucia Stars and even has one CPL title to his name. He has also lead the West Indies successfully on a couple of occasions as a stand-in captain.

After a torrid last season, he will look to reinvent himself and it would be great for him if he repays the owner's faith by winning a few games for the MI as a captain.
