#7 Jasprit Bumrah (17 wickets)
Jasprit Bumrah has established himself as one of the best Indian speedsters of the current generation. The Ahmedabad-born player is highly acclaimed for his bowling in the death overs and pin-point yorkers.
The youngster was retained by Mumbai Indians for a hefty ₹7 crores ahead of the 2018 IPL.
It proved to be a wise decision as he picked up 17 wickets in 14 matches at a strike rate of 19.05. What is most impressive, however, is that he had an economy rate of 6.88 and restricted the opposition players to a great extent even when bowling at the death. Even some of the finest batting talents failed to hit him for runs.
Bumrah clinched 15 wickets in the 4 Test matches he played against Australia recently. A huge asset for the Mumbai-based franchise, Bumrah is expected to play a big role in for them in the 2019 season as well.
