Prithvi Shaw is one of the youngest players among many in the Delhi Capitals squad.

Delhi Capitals has the youngest team in the IPL 2019 season with an average age of 25.62. Delhi is another team apart from Rajasthan that has preferred to have young players take the team forward.

Incidentally, captain of the Delhi Capitals side, Shreyas Iyer, was one of the youngest captains in the IPL. But it doesn’t mean they are short of experience; Shikhar Dhawan, Colin Ingram and Chris Morris are experienced campaigners who will play a major role heralding this young Delhi Side.

The oldest player in the squad is the experienced Indian spinner Amit Mishra who is 36 years old and the youngest player is Sandeep Lamichhane, the mystery spinner from Nepal, who is only 18 years old.
