Matches - 12, Runs - 692, Highest Score - 100*, Strike Rate - 143.86
Perhaps, the biggest moment of this year's IPL was the return of Australian opener, David Warner. The former SRH skipper did not play in the previous edition of IPL and hence, the fans were pleased to see him make his much-awaited return in IPL 12. Warner could play only 12 games for Hyderabad but he made sure he outshines every other batsman in the tournament.
Warner scored 692 runs at an average of 69.20 and a strike rate of 140+. The opener's swashbuckling performances helped SRH secure a playoff spot via a higher net run rate.
The Orange Army fans welcomed him with open hands and the same can be expected from the Aussie fans who will see Warner play for the nation in the 2019 World Cup.
