All-rounder - Ben Stokes and K Gowtham

Ben Stokes is one of the best all-rounders going around and he will be crucial to RR's chances next season. He is a quality cricketer and last season's failures may not affect his selection. Concerns about his availability might prompt the team to look at other options like Moises Henriques and Sam Curran.
K Gowtham was a revelation last year and he will continue to be a part of the playing XI. Rajasthan also has Stuart Binny as a backup.
Bowlers - Shreyas Gopal, Jofra Archer, Mohammed Shami and Jaydev Unadkat

Rajasthan Royals can have a good depth in batting if they play Shreyas Gopal and Jofra Archer at No.8 at No.9. They are more than useful batsmen and important to the team with their bowling contributions.
Dhawal Kulkarni will get fewer chances next season and hence RR must try to build a stable bowling partnership by picking Shami and Unadkat at the auctions. They can also try Mohit Sharma or Barinder Sran if both the players are not available.
The team will also need an additional overseas bowling option. Dale Steyn or Chris Woakes would be good options.
