Riyan Parag was one of the last IPL 2019 auctions and the youngest in the RR squad.

Riyan Parag was part of the 2018 U-19 World Cup cricket team and was also the leading run-scorer for Assam in the Vijay Hazare trophy.

Rajasthan Royals took interest in him in the recent IPL 2019 auctions and bought him at his base price during the fag-end of the auctions. Coming from Assam, a place from where not many cricketers have flourished, Parag hopes to be the seed of change in the Assam Cricket.

Parag is an all-rounder who bowls off spins apart from his batting exploits. He is just 17 years old and is the second youngest player in the 2019 IPL season among all the 8 IPL teams.

Among the other players in the Rajasthan lineup, Mahipal Lomror is 19 years old and the big West Indian Oshane Thomas and Aryaman Birla are only 21 years old.

Riyan Parag is the youngest player in the Rajasthan Royals Squad for the IPL 2019 season.
