#1 Prayas Ray Barman (Royal Challengers Bangalore)
DOB: 25/10/2002
Age -16
Prayas Ray Barman was the surprise pick of the 2019 IPL auctions. He was relatively unknown among the fans, but the scouts of the IPL teams had done their job properly. There was a small bidding war for him and Royal Challengers Bangalore had to cough up 1.5 crores for this 16-year-old youngster.
He has had relatively good success with the Bengal in the Vijay Hazare trophy and was part of the 15 man squad of Ranji Trophy under Manoj Tiwary. Though the youngster is only 16 years old, he is 6’1" tall and bowls spin much like how Anil Kumble used to do.
Among the other players in the Bangalore line-up, Washington Sundar, though he is around for 2-3 years, is only 19 years old and the new recruit Devdutt Padikkal only 18 years old.
Prayas Ray Barman is the youngest player in the Royal Challengers Bangalore Squad for the IPL 2019 season.
