One of the biggest selection decision which completely went over many heads was how underused Washington Sundar was. The young spinner is a capable all-rounder who can do the job with the ball and the bat.

Sundar is capable enough to bowl both in the powerplay and in the middle overs and he has proved that many times in the IPL. Just think about it, a cricketer who is capable to play for the Indian T20 international team has to be capable enough to play for RCB. Isn't it?

He still got to play the last couple games in the red and black. In his three matches, he picked up 4 wickets at an economy rate of about 8. Some selection blunders and some poor performances were what led to RCB's downfall this year and one can only hope they correct their mistakes next year.
