#2 Jason Holder

Jason Holder did not have a memorable stint with the Chennai Super Kings when he represented the franchise back in 2013. In the six matches he played for MS Dhoni's men in season six, Holder took two wickets but failed to score any runs.
Currently, the Windies skipper is arguably one of the finest all-rounders across formats and at ₹75 lakh, it would be an absolute steal if Chennai could manage to acquire his services. Holder's return to Chepauk is very much on the cards.
#1 James Neesham

The Kiwi all-rounder went unsold at his base price of ₹75 lakhs at the 2019 IPL auctions. James Neesham, who has represented the Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) during the 2014 IPL moved to Kolkata Knight Riders in the following season. Unfortunately, he did not play even a game for the Knight Riders as he was ruled out of the 2015 IPL due to injury.
The 28-year-old who has so far played four IPL matches in his career has scored 42 runs apart from picking up a solitary wicket. A perfect T20 campaigner otherwise, Neesham who is in fine form currently, might be a valuable addition for CSK.
