Shane Watson is one of the greatest players to have played this format of the game. The Australian all-rounder has the ability to change the course of any match. He showed that last year when he scored 117 off just 57 in the IPL final to win the tournament for his team.

Chennai Super Kings has shown a lot of faith in their star opener this season but he has failed to deliver. The team management does not want to drop the Australian superstar because on his day he can win matches singlehandedly.

He showed that ability against SRH when he scored 96 to help his team chase a tough score vs SRH. Sadly, for him and CSK, this innings has been the only shining light in an otherwise gloomy campaign. He has scored runs at an average of less than 18 which is very poor for a player of his quality.
