In an another chase against the Deccan Chargers, Sehwag scored his maiden IPL hundred to take the Delhi Daredevils home with a big win. Chasing a total of 176 runs, the Delhi-born cricketer gave his side a flying start.

Probably Sehwag's finest knock in IPL history came against the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2014 when he fired a brilliant 122-run innings to earn the Kings XI Punjab a place in the final of the tournament.
He scored as many as 12 fours and eight sixes to take Punjab to 226 runs total, which is still one of the biggest first-inning scores of the mega league. KXIP successfully defended the total and Sehwag was named as the Man of the Match.
