#1. Virat Kohli - 732 Runs

The Indian cricket team captain has done great justice to his nickname 'King Kohli' as he has been conquering some batting records in IPL in recent times, from becoming the first player to score 900+ runs in a single season to scoring 4 centuries in a single league.
Kohli has always been a run machine. He has played 22 matches opposing the Super Kings. The aggressive batsman has piled up a total of 732 runs in 21 innings at an average of 40.66.
In the opening match against CSK, the RCB skipper will be looking to create a record. Kohli has so far scored 4948 runs in IPL and needs 52 runs to become the first player in the IPL history to score 5000 runs. However, the right-hander faces stiff competition from Suresh Raina who has 4985 IPL runs to his name.
Interestingly Chennai Super Kings captain Dhoni has scored most runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Hence its perfect clash to kick start the 2019 IPL season.
