All-rounders: Sherfane Rutherford, Sam Curran and Prayas Barman
Both Rutherford and Sam Curran have high expectations around them. and their performance in the upcoming season could decide their selection to the World Cup.
Rutherford has represented West Indies and is considered a bright prospect. He has been picked by Delhi Capitals, and will be a good backup option in the team.
Curran has been the find of this year and his 7.2 crore contract with KXIP could be a defining one for the season.
Prayas Barman from Bengal was a surprise pick by RCB at the auction as the young leg-spinning all-rounder is just 16 years old. He is the youngest player in the IPL, and may make his debut in 2019.
Bowlers: Oshane Thomas, Rasikh Dar and Arshdeep Singh
Oshane Thomas was expected to be a part of an IPL team this season, and that team will be Rajasthan Royals. He has done well for West Indies so far, and he will combine with Jofra Archer at RR to form a dangerous bowling partnership.
Rasikh Dar is just 17 years old, and the pacer from Jammu & Kashmir will bowl along with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga in the Mumbai Indians team. He will be tutored by Zaheer Khan, which could greatly help the teenager.
Arshdeep Singh is a wily left-arm pacer and will be a part of the KXIP team for the upcoming season. He might get a few opportunities in the playing XI, and he should try and make them count.
