Rajasthan Royals were one team who picked some really buys at the auction. The best buy from the 2008 Champions has to be Oshane Thomas of Jamaica. He is known for bowling at a brisk pace by generating speeds up to 150 kmph. The 22-year old was also the highest wicket-taking pacer in the Carribean Premier League.

While Thomas has the tendency to be erratic with the line and length at times, his ability to bamboozle batsman with sheer pace overshadows his shortcomings. So far, the right-arm pacer has played 21 T20s and scalped 22 wickets at an impressive average of 23.67 and an economy rate of about 8.

One area that Rajasthan Royals struggled last year was the lack of wicket-taking fast-bowlers in the arsenal. Apart from Jofra Archer, none of the bowlers made life tough for batsmen. Thomas might not be economical, but he is one bowler who knows to pick wickets.
