IPL 2020: 3 Players Delhi Capitals could release ahead of auction

The leg-spinner could face the wrath from the team management of the Delhi Capitals. Rahul Tewatia was brought for a hefty amount of INR 3 crore in IPL 2018 auctions but he hasn't been able to do justice to his price tag. The leg-spinner from Haryana could only manage scalp two wickets in the five matches of the IPL 2019.

Tewatia, who has decent batting credentials also could not give the finishing touches to the innings. He managed to score only 26 runs in the four innings he played for the Delhi team in the last edition.

Moreover, with quality spinners like Amit Mishra, Axar Patel, Mayank Markande and Sandeep Lamichanne in the Delhi Capitals side, it is going to be a difficult job for Rahul Tewatia to save his place in the squad. Furthermore, they all are identical spinners (except for Axar Patel) and Delhi would want a bit of variety in their spin attack.
