#3 Hardus Viljoen

South Africa's fast bowler Hardus Viljoen will also likely be under the scanner. Viljoen had an ordinary IPL 2019 as he could only scalp seven wickets in the six matches he played. Furthermore, he conceded his runs at an expensive economy rate of 9.65 and bowled with an average of 31.71.
Viljoen doesn't have a lot of variations in his repertoire, and that could go against him. Furthermore, as only four foreign players can make the cut into the playing XI of a particular IPL team, it is going to be hard for Viljoen to get too many opportunities in the Punjab starting lineup.
The right-arm pacer didn't have a great CPL 2019 either as he could only snare six wickets in eight matches at an economy rate of 8.52.
