#3 Robin Uthappa
The Karnataka batsman has been a part of IPL since its inception and played 177 matches thus far. In his journey, Robin Uthappa has represented many teams like Mumbai Indians (2008), Royal Challengers Bangalore (2009-10), Pune Warriors India (2011-13), and his most successful phase with Kolkata Knight Riders (2014-19).
Uthappa has been a consistent performer for the Kolkata-based franchise and went on to win the orange cap in 2014, leading KKR to their second IPL title. The wicket-keeper batsman has scored over 4400 runs in the tournament at a strike rate of 130, including 24 half-centuries and a top score of 87.
After tasting a lot of success on a consistent basis, the 34-year-old's performance has seen a dip from the past couple of seasons, due to which he was released by KKR ahead of the IPL 2020 auction. Uthappa averaged only 21.93 in IPL 2018 with Dinesh Karthik taking over as the wicket-keeper and his strike declined to just 115 in the 2019 edition with a lone 50+ score each year.
